Here's an article which indicates to me that what doctors tell you NOT to do today, they'll tell you tomorrow to do the exact opposite.

It's so annoying. It's a good thing I'm such a seafoodie, I've been eating quite a bit throughout my pregnancy anyway. Next the medical world will insist that sushi and sashimi are not only OK for pregnant women to eat, they're ABSOLUTELY VITAL for your baby's health. When it happens, know you first heard it here.

I always found pregnancy so rife with fear and alarmism....
bring on the sushi platters!
Yes! After all, you don't see pregnant Japanese women refraining from sushi...
tagged. you are pardoned if you aren't up to it though.
You've been tagged ! See my latest post on "Middle name tag" for specifics.
Ladies, have mercy! Am down to my last week of pregnancy. The brain cells briefly awoke in indignation to jot down the latest post, but now are fast, fast asleep. :)))
hey how are you doin'? baby in or out?!
muser, you have to write another post before D-day to leave us with something. What are we supposed to do until you find the time and mood again? Unless you're like the mad momma who can nurse and type at the same time.
Baby's still in, Choxbox! C-Section's scheduled for this Friday. Three days to go!
Terri, hehehehe, there are several reasons why Mad Momma's posts are awe-inspiring, and her ability to nurse and type is definitely one of them. Will try to squeeze in a post before Friday...
You're pregnant ? Lovely ! I ate through my first pregnancy - chiefly apples and chicken and eggs and drank a lot of milk- no fish . The next one I ate potatoes and an achaar my ma used to make with mangoes and red chana .And I baked a lot so ate a fair bit of cake . Didnt do either me or the baby any harm!
My mom-in-law blames my sweet tooth during this pregnancy on conceiving a boy. Makes zero medical sense, but it works for me!
